I love movies and acting ever since I can remeber.
I was born(1941) & raised in Baja, Hungary and always seemed to be located too far away from any serious tryouts, aside from some poem reciting contests.
Left Hungary in 1965, then waited for my papers to enter the USA, in Frankfurt/M, Germany - where (like most places) I worked as an assembeler - until 1967, when I came to California.
I probably should write a book: "How NOT To Get In Show Business", but eventually in 1985 I got a role on stage and in 1990 I played a small SAG role in a low budget film.
I attended many auditions listed in local papers - just to be able to learn delivering lines in front of strangers for acting lessons, so to speak - aside from some private tutors, like Victor Varconi, Rhoda Gemignani, Richard Rekow and Jed Horner. I also studied acting at the Theatre Of Arts.
If anyone would be so kind to give me a referral for a possible LA based agency representation tryout interview, I'd be very grateful for it.
I live in Central California, way out in the Sierra Foothills, not too far from Angels Camp.
